Edoardo Paes welcomes Cities of Love in Rio de Janeiro

Edoardo Paes says that his mission as mayor is to ensure that Rio’s renaissance thanks to the Brazilian economic boom, the effective pacification policy developed by the State Government and the successful bid to host the 2016 Olympic Games creates a positive legacy for all Rio’s citizens. Rio, I Love You was part of his plan, and the Rio, I Love You platform succeeded beyond expectations.

Even though Cities of Love is an apolitical global initiative, it is key to City, I Love You initiatives to work in full cooperation with city and central governments.
